When I received this chair it was so filthy I didn’t know what I was getting into. As I began working with it, I saw it was made of Maple. And I chose to just leave it in the raw! I finished the hardware with a metallic Micaceo from Italy. A very durable direct to metal finish. This was a project I was kicking myself for not taking the before. My clients husband used to work in this chair while he was living so it meant a great deal to her when she saw the end result .
